We all know that we cannot change the way life goes. Some of us from the time we were little try to map out what we are going to do. As little girls many of us plan to meet Prince Charming, get married and have children.
Now time to fast forward. We have met our Prince and we want to start our family. For some of us it comes easy. For others it is a whole different journey. Many times though we feel find we have trouble getting pregnant. What makes it worse is many times our friends and family members are announcing that they are expecting which makes the sting that much worse.
Different things such as a previous infection can cause blocked fallopian tubes, adhesions from previous surgeries and the list can go on. Does this mean that pregnancy is not possible? No, luckily it doesn’t. Although getting that news from your physician can be earth shattering the tubes can be repaired. Sometimes it’s what the physicians fail to tell us that can be very scary.
Most women after getting over the initial shock think IVF. The problem with IVF is that it can be very expensive and many times the first treatment does not work thus incurring more expenses. But there is a less expensive route and it is the repair of blocked tubes using tubal ligation reversal techniques. The leading tubal reversal center now holds a 98% repair rate, which is quite impressive.
If you are diagnosed with blocked fallopian tubes there is hope through tubal surgery. Many of the women that go to have the repair done not only have one child but also many go onto have two or three. Sometimes what can seem to be a devastating blow in life can be repaired easier than we thought.
